Mobile Mentor Hub
At Supernova Group, we place great emphasis on giving the youngest generation a chance to explore and master the profession, as they form the foundation of tomorrow’s workforce.
Mentor Program
Our mission is to spark curiosity and long-term commitment to the industry. That is why we actively participate in professional demonstrations, open days – and take things even further with our Mobile Mentor initiative.
Our Mobile Mentor Hub allows us to travel across the country and bring the world of transport and logistics closer to people of all ages – especially young individuals who are about to choose their career paths. We aim not only to promote the profession of truck driving, but also to showcase the wide range of career opportunities within international transport and logistics – from operations and planning to coordination and back-office roles.
Mentor Program
New drivers, after obtaining the required licenses and passing exams, do not get thrown straight into the deep end. Instead, they progress step by step, building their knowledge through real experience. Their first and most crucial period is spent on the road with a mentor truck, where they gain hands-on experience.
During this onboarding phase, they learn safe and eco-conscious driving techniques, the proper handling of tractor-trailers, and how to take care of both their vehicles and cargo.
At Supernova Group, we believe that strong foundations lead to confident professionals. That is why our Mentor Program focuses on gradual development, continuous feedback and long-term growth opportunities—not only for drivers, but across all roles.
Why Learn from a Supernova Mentor?
Learning from a Supernova Mentor means more than just acquiring technical skills. It means becoming part of a supportive professional environment where development is a shared goal.
What makes this experience especially valuable is the stability and strength of the SupernovaTeam: a cohesive, experienced group where knowledge sharing and continuous improvement are core principles. Mentors not only provide individual guidance but also demonstrate through the team’s collaborative dynamics how to work effectively, adapt, and grow within a reliable and forward-thinking professional community.
We don’t expect newcomers to know everything from the start. Instead, we provide the time, guidance, and structure needed to truly understand the profession. Our experienced colleagues pass on not only their knowledge, but also their mindset and attitude toward responsible, high-quality work.
The transport and logistics industry is complex and full of opportunities. Those who are motivated can gain experience in multiple areas—from daily operations to planning and even organizational tasks. We don’t believe in rigid career paths. If someone proves their dedication and shows interest in new challenges, we actively support their growth.
A Supportive and Flexible Work Environment
At Supernova Intertrans, long-term development is not just about climbing a career ladder. It is about creating a workplace where people can plan ahead and rely on each other.
We offer flexible work schedules – even for new employees and for drivers as well – so everyone can find a working style that fits their lifestyle. This flexibility remains important for our experienced colleagues as well, especially when life circumstances change.
As a responsible employer, we focus not only on business results, but also on the people behind them. We ensure a safe working environment, predictable processes, and a culture where employees feel valued and supported over the long term.
Experienced professionals represent real value to us – and we aim to retain that value by providing stability, respect, and continuous opportunities for growth.
The Supernova Approach
The Supernova Intertrans mentor program is built on a simple idea: we – Supernovateam don’t leave newcomers on their own.
We know that in many places, beginners are told to “come back when you have experience.” But how can they gain experience without support? We believe it is our responsibility to help them from the very beginning.
With us, new colleagues can learn alongside experienced professionals, ask questions, make mistakes, and improve. The expectation is not perfection—it is willingness to learn. And in return, we provide the knowledge and support needed to succeed.
This approach applies not only to drivers, but also to back-office roles, where complex systems and processes require the same level of guidance and mentorship.
What Does It Mean to Be a Supernova Mentor?
Being a Supernova Mentor is more than being an excellent driver or mentor. It is a huge responsibility to guide a new generation in such a complex profession. We share not only our knowledge but also our attitude toward the profession. Our role doesn’t end when a mentee drives independently; we continue to support them until they can confidently handle the full scope of their duties.
We know that this responsibility goes beyond accident-free, eco-friendly driving. Choosing a career in trucking is a big decision, and as mentors, we must always give our best—because so much depends on us.
We aim to make #supernova a place where everyone can bring their unique strengths to work every day and perform at their best. We believe that promoting diversity in the workplace leads not only to better decisions and innovation, but also to stronger business performance.
What’s the Biggest Challenge as a Mentor?
“Simple: patience and adaptability. We work with complete strangers, preparing them for a profession in a limited amount of time. Patience is key, especially with total beginners who have zero experience. Adaptability is another challenge, since we share tight quarters for work and rest over several weeks.”
– Richárd, Supernova Mentor
